Cover over Fiberglass center section

How do you cover over the wings fiberglassed center section and get a smooth appearance?
This is what I do and maybe someone can tell me where I am going wroong. I use Thin CA glue and completely go over the fiberglass, while pulling the fiberglass tight.
When Dried I lightly sand, and then cover.
But the final covering is rough.

Suggestions???

I would sand it some more. Also, I generally use brushable epoxy and glass cloth for this. It's easier for me to build up smooth and feather the edge. of course, for most stuff that I do, seeing a little fibergalss under the covering isn't the end of the world.

Check out the build thread that 8178 is doing on the classic pattern board. He really has a slick way of doing it althogh he is using epoxy.

I dont remember what page its on but you should look through the whole thread. There is some beautiful craftsmanship there.
I used CA one time for the center section and I wont do it again. I think you get better results with epoxy even though alot of kits say to use CA. Just my opinion
