Starter Question

I would like to inquire to everyone as to if any of you had any feedback regarding the "Compact Gear Reduction" Starter that is sold by Central Hobbies. Any of you guys have used this? BTW, am planning to get a cordless new starter. Thanks for any info.

I have the pacific Aeroworks geared starter which is pretty much identical to the central hobbies starter. I like it very much it starts my 1.25 with no problem, while my hobbico starter struggled. I made a simple adapter to either use 2 7.2v batteries or use the plug on my starter panel just in case. The extra voltage put out by 2 battery backs gives the extra umph' to move the stubborn motors.

Short answer is NO. I made one out of a starter from a Z1000r motorcycle. Will start anything.
