OS 70 Surpass Prop

What size prop do you use on your OS 70 Surpass 4-stroke engine for Sport flying?

I have an astro hog and would like to know.

kc,

I use a 12x8 MA K-Series on my US 40+ with a OS .70 Surpass. You could also try a 13x6. I use the 12x8 on my Saito .72 also.

BTW - Your going to love the Astro Hog. It's an excellent flying airplane.

Scott.

I have an 11-10 on one of mine for ground clearance issues, but does do quite well, the rest have 12-6, 12-8, 13-6, or 14-5. I have a pair going into a B-25 that will run 12-6 three blade props. All keep the rpms under 10,000 on the ground.

For an OS 70 (one of my favorite engines) on a Hog Bipe (One of my favortie planes) it would hurt me deeply to use anything but a Graupner 12x8

My favorite for the 70 is 13x6.

I think a 12x8 K series would be a good one on this engine. I have a Funster that had an Enya 60 4c and I used a 12" on that too.It worked out well.
