Control Throw Recomendations - and CG

Hello all,

I recently purchased a no name cap 232 .60 size from EBAY.
The overall quality of the kit looks quite nice, but the manual is VERY lacking in
important information.

I used to fly a Kyosho CAP 232 until I crashed it (Hey I got 5 years out of it), and I figured the
recomended cg and control throws for the Kysoho would be atleast a close match.
However, I have lost the Kyosho manual long ago.

Can anyone please tell me what would be a good starting point for control
throws and CG on a .60 sized CAP 232?

Thanks,
Chris

RE: Control Throw Recomendations - and CG

G'day Mate,
Try this calculator, http://www.palosrc.com/instructors/cg.htm
And the control throws, well I recommend, ailerons 3/4" up & down, on high rates, & set low rates to about 60%, elevators, about the same. Rudder 1" right & left.
First flight should be on low rates, & if you need more, you can switch to high rates.
If you do it this way it should be safe to fly & land, of course you can adjust later.
