Do Rhom Air's spring down?
Do the Rhom Air retracts spring down like the Spring Air's if the air pressure is lost or runs down?

But spring airs do. Don't know if they still make them though.

Do Rhom Air's spring down?
As has been stated Rhoms do not lock up or spring down. If you've flown them that will be your function choice from then on.

I have over 1000 flights on one set with zero failures and zero repairs.

The only down side is that I don't believe they are still in business.

I would go to BVM and also check out Robart. Robart have well engineered products which are well executed as well. BVM may have a set specifically engineered for the F-4.

I particularly like the Rhom feature of no up lock as it allows you to stall the gear into foam rubber, the result being that vibration induced wear is about zero. You can probably do the same thing with Robart by selecting a set which "over rotate for your application and therefore will stall before they reach lock. Just one man's preference.
