help mounting an engine

I need help! I crashed my phoenix super decathlon a couple months ago and have been delaying the rebuild. I ordered a new fuselage and everything else was salvageable. Except for the engine that cracked the inside of the crank case (OS 46 LA). I am trying to finance another project right now and the only engine I have is a GMS .61 2 stroke engine that has been broke in and that's about it. The aircraft came with a mount already installed on it, but it will not fit the .61 size crank case and it was premounted at a 45 degree angle so basically the current holes are useless. Here is where I need your help.

I am going to mount the .61 at a 90 degree angle with a pitts muffler and I don't know how to go about setting the mount. All I know from the instructions is that it needs to have a 2 degree downward thrust and 2 degree right thrust. Anybody have an idea?

RE: help mounting an engine

usually the thrust angles are built into the firewall .all you have to do is mount the engine allowing for some offset so the ctankshaft ends up on the original thrustline.basically lines up with the cowl ring
