Right Thrust-Down Thrust Question
 
When is right thrust and or down thrust needed.I am about to install an OS .46 AX on my new 4star40....
My little super cub has a noticeably down/right set up.My superstar OS 40 LA is straight in line a flies fine.....
thanks for any input.

Your 4* should have the correct down and right thrust angles built into the firewall. I'm no aerodynamic expert but it's generally there to counteract a characteristic of the plane. Some planes will have it and others won't. You can also experiment with different thrust angles by shimming your motor mount to make a plane fly a particular way.

You'll be definately be needin' some.
If there isn't anything built in, eyeball 1deg' down and 3deg' right thrust for starters. Fix the rest when flying.
You shounldn't just fix your engine to the center of the FW then add the R thrust as this'll make the prop' not centered.
Offset mount to left so the center of the prop lines up with the center line through the aircraft.
