Which side of the CA hinge gets inserted?

Putting together a GP ARF (U Can Do 46) and the CA hinges get cut from a sheet, each hinge = 3/4" x 1". Which sides of the hinge get inserted into the wing and aileron -- the 3/4" side or the 1" side? In other words, do the 3/4" sides face fore and aft or do the 1" sides face fore and aft?

Thanks for any help you can give.

The 3/4" sides face fore and aft so that you have 1/2" in the elevator and 1/2" in the stab

And DON'T forget that you have to have BOTH parts ( wing / Aileron ) in place when put the ca on the hinge. If you try to do it one side at a time the ca Will not seep into the second side because it has hardened already. That has shown up on a couple ARF's lately and the hinges didn't hold, luckly we caught them before another flight. ENJOY !!! RED
