engine stalling
 

I have an ultra stick 120 with 1.20 motor i was wondering why when i get the nose pointed up the engine dies and what can i do to fix this,I am new to this stuff and would appriciate any advice.

Aircraft engine don't stall, they quit! Most likely your tank is too low, or you have a leak in your muffler pressure line.

I would assume that you've simply got the main needle too lean. Can you describe how you tune this engine each day you arrive at the field? Also, please describe the tank setup (2 or 3 lines? How far behind, above or below the engine is it installed).

Right now we've got little to guess on...

Your engine is running lean. Not enough fuel. You need to open the needle valve to about 2.5 turns and turn it in until it does not sag when pointing up the nose. Your fuel tanks centerline should be even with the carb and if this is not possible your engine should be rotated and mounted on it's side.

I have two lines coming from the tank,but my fuel tank centerline is not even with my carb,I took it out today and had to run it rich to keep it running.
I honestly think this is to big of a plane for me it is only the second plane i have had
so i ordered a new twist40 today.

It's not supposed to be, it should be below the carb. About 1/4" to 1/2" should do.

Aircraft engines don't stall they quit. It's the wing that stalls.
