hello everyone..

i wanted some help regarding pull pull...

1) The pull pull wire has some sort of coating of Rubber or Plastic over it. Should i remove it just for the place for crimping.?

2) I have been reading for days about Cris-cross cable pull pull geometry and can't get a thing..

Can Some help me out for my 50cc yak ..

I leave the plastic coating on the wire. I don't like the crossed approach. If you make the geometry of the rudder servo horn match the geometry of the rudder's control horn, it works out perfectly. By "geometry", I mean the distance between the holes on the servo arm must match the distance between the holes on the control horns. And the "offset" of the servo arms needs to match the offset of the rudder horns. Offset at the rudder is the distance behind the hinge line that the horns are installed. If you can set it up with zero offset, this is easiest to understand.

i will have to use the cross pull pull system as if i try using the straight type the wire hit the formers in the pull pull

I have another doubt..

In the cross pull pull does the servo arm and the control horn should be at the same lenght.

Also what should be the ideal lenght of servohorn for a 50cc plane with hitec 5955TG

Crossover is OK!
The arms should in theory be the same length , but in practice a centimeter or two difference doesn't matter.
There is no such thin as ideal servo arm length. But! Remember that there is a rule that says : The servo arm should be as short as possible and the rudder/aileron/ elevator arm as long as possible ! This way you get as little play as possible in the system.

I wish hanger 9 still made the pulley for the servo arm. That was the best setup for a pull pull system. I had to make a set of them for my L-4.

Certainly the length of the cables needs to be the same length. This is true whether you cross or go straight. When the rudder is straight, the servo arm needs to be perpendicular to the imaginary line between the servo and the rudder hinge line.

If you intend to criss-cross it shim up the servo slightly on the upper wire side so the wires don't rub.
