Manual OS MAX 25FP & 40FP

Hi,

i've bought a secondhand OS MAX 25FP & 40FP, the 25FP is still new :)

On osengines.com i can't get the manual, cause these models aren't in the listing anymore. So i wonder if anyone of you might know where to find a manual ?

Please help :(

Happy flying from the Netherlands

Grtz,
Menno

The FP engines are very similar to the LA engines that they are now producing. The FP really only has one adjustment which is the needle valve for the high speed. I am certain that I have a set of instructions for them. How much is postage to the Netherlands? Thanks Dave

Here is a manual for the FP series engines. The quality is not the best, but that's what I have at the moment.
Right click on the file link below and choose Save Link As.., rename the file to OS_FP_manual.pdf and open it in Adobe Acrobat Reader.
Sorry about the inconvenience, but RCU does not recognise pdf files.

wait d00dz, isnt the .25fp an air bleed carburetor?... um yea i just went to look at mine to be positive and yes it is.

David writes: "The FP really only has one adjustment which is the needle valve for the high speed."

Actually
It has 2 adjustments, a main needle, and the air bleed screw, which regulates fuel/air mix at low throttle. screw it in, it closes the low end air passage thus creating a rich setting. Screw it out, it opens the air passage, creating a leaner running condition[at low throttle]. [sm=49_49.gif]
