Help!! - Hanger 9 Tribute 36 PNP - Help!!

Okay, I just bought a Hanger 9 Tribute 4d 36 PNP. I have extensive electric plane aerobatic experience, and am comfortable flying my electrics in about any situation.

My question is, can I take my standard 4 channel radio and use it for this new 3d plane? The reason I am asking is that I have heard many people say that because the plane has big control surfaces (duh) it is very difficult to fly without exponential radio control or at least dual rates. My radio has neither, as I really have never needed them for my electrics.

Am I going to crash? Is it possible/plausible? Do I have to buy another radio? I know it would be better, but I'm poor. Like I said, I have much experience with electric aerobatics.

Thanks!

Kennie

Guess no one has a clue? Can I just adjust my throws with my servo and control arms enough to suffice at first?

It really depends on your skill level. If it were me, I'd adjust the throws to bare minimum, and work my way up from there.

In my opinion without dual rates you will never get the full benefits of this aircraft.....on the other hand if you set just high rates you may find the airplane too sensitive to control
