Can the normal sport flier tell the deference between a servo rated at .16 and say .20 @ 60 deg, does not seem like a big difference. Why I'm asking is for my GP 330L. Would like to use something like Hitec 645s. If I must go digital I will. Trying to save a little $. :confused:

probably not, i have seen good pilots moan i've only got standard servos in my Cougar when the prophang it, but thats responce which i think this figure is, but 16 vs 20 is what, close to 25% which is quite a bit faster.
for joe average like us, you wont notice a thing

More than likely, you won't notice any difference. I personally like having a little more torque in lieu of more speed.

and thats got more to do with where you put your links, not servo numbers

I would say that if you are flying a plane like a pylon racer or something similar, you should be able to see the difference.
