mixing channels on the DX-7

I just completed building a Seagul Yak-54 90 size. The problem that i am having is trying to figure out how to mix the elevator. This particular plane has a servo for the left and right side of the elevator. For the elevator, I plugged one servo into the auxiillary slot on the reciever and the other into the actual elevator slot. If there is anyone out there that have the answer, your help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
