how do I do a pull-pull rudder ?
 

I know a stupid question. I've been flying & kit building for almost 4 yrs. I've seen the pull-pull system but never really "seen it" if you know what I mean. Is there already a thread on this? If not, show me pics. Please. I'm finishing up a scratch built Midwest Super Hots (60 size) w/ a Super Tiger 75 & want to hook up a pull-pull. Thanks in advance

Thanks, perreback & everybody else.. One thing I failed to ask. I'm useing a steerable tailwheel. Do I hook up the cables directly to the rudder & then use springs to the tailwheel? Or do Igo to the tlwhl first & use springs to the rudder? Thanks again guys

Alwasy hook cables directly to rudder. Use springs or other shock absorbing system between rudder and wheel.

This is A Mid West 60 size Hots I did A couple of years ago with A pull/pull. Because I'm running A YS 1.10 in it I also added two elevator servos and made up A hatch so I'm able to get to the rudder servo when needed. I was able to get almost all of my gear and battery behind the CG so I didn't have to add any lead to get correct CG. I also made up A much bigger rudder. This is my Get Real Stupid plane and it and my old Kaos get the most air time. This Hots gets with the program.
