charge switch question

Is this switch/charge jack any good? Any problems that you are aware of?

Thanks

RE: charge switch question

I've used plenty of those switches and have had zero problems with them.

RE: charge switch question

I am replacing all of my switches with this unit. I have had 0 problems with this unit. You will still need to mount this in a dry area just as you would any switch to prevent any gas oil or moisture from entering.:D

I use the standard switches, but I mount them in one of these. Easy to install and they work great:

RE: charge switch question

Thanks guys. Just what I needed to know. I think I'll get both, the one I posted and the one Minnflyer posted. I am building a profile plane for my son, and it has a hatch to get to the battery. I wanted to be able to charge the battery from the outside of the plane.
Thanks again.

RE: charge switch question

Mesaflyer,
Those are good switches and a very good price.
When I was using them they were around $16.
I went to the standard switch with charge plug and replace the charge plug and use a 1/8" audio plug for charging.

Much cheaper and round holes are easier to make.
Good Luck,
