Repair

I just busted up a plastic wing tip on my GP Spacewalker(79"). Does anyone know of a source ? Tower has discontinued the replacement part ,GPMA 2167.
How can I repair the plastic wing tip ? The leading edge at the tip is crushed with a few peices missing. I have a large peice that was ripped off of the bottom of the wing tip that goes up to the leading edge. I am open to suggestions on repair techniques.

Hi Ted,

Without seeing a photo of the damage, I would suggest carving a piece of balsa or several pieces laminated together with white glue to replace the entire tip. If you can't match the colour a contrast may not look out of place.
