4-stroke Starters?
 

Hello everyone, I'm doing a car project in which I'd like to employ a 4-stroke engine, either a Saito 56 or 72. So, I've been searching the net for the last 30mins, and have come up with this much.

In several threads in RCU, it was said that engines 90 size and smaller could be started using the same unit for 2 stroke ABC engines. Would you think that a 500 size electric motor using a 7.2V 6 cell stick pack would have the power to turn over a 72, lets say if the start was with the engine already primed?

I can't find the official specs, but it looks to be either 400-500 size, and turns our 4-5cc engines over with authority. I checked the specs, and the Saito 72 has a 11.80CC displacement, and members in the car engine forums have informed me that the engines have fairly high compression.

Sorry if I was misunderstood, but I'm asking if a 500 size motor could start a 72 size 4-stroke. I don't need the starter system, I'm going to make my own. It doesn't specify what size motor is used in that setup:(. BTW as mentioned, this is for a car,
