Need help identifying a couple more planes
 

These were among a bunch of planes I picked up the other day. Any ideas as to what they are? The high wing plane has flaps.

I'm trying to load the pics of the other plane...wouldn't let me load 5. Was successful loading 3, and now I can't get it to load the other 2...I'll keep trying.

I beleve the second one is an ultrasport 60. set up with retracts it appears the nose has been damaged and repaired without the wheel well for the nose gear.

The second one is an Ultra sport for sure. The first one is a Trainer 60 from GP with a nose mod. At one time Great Planes made a PT-60 and a Trainer 60. The Trainer 60 had a symetrical wing,larger control surfaces and less diheral. It also had the option of wing bolts just like the one in your pics. I have one and have the book and plans if you need any info.

And the first one is a Bridi T60 or T40 , which ever size you have there. Wonderful flying airplane. Looks like someone modified it with flaps. It was later sold to Great Planes. Not really sure which one you have.

Thanks guys, I figurd someone out there knew what this stuff is. I bought a bunch of RC stuff from a guy the other day. His father-in-law supposedly owned all of it. Seller knew nothing about RC, and said all this stuff was in his way. I also got a Pica? Dualist (ready to fly) , a Royal B-17 (built, but without engines/electronics), 7 more planes in various stages of completion, several engines, and a bunch of related RC "stuff". I paid his asking price....$400.00:D

There were a number of variations of the Bridi Trainer 60 and Great Planes Trainer 60 and the RC Modeler Advanced Trainer 60 which were all designed by Joe Bridi
The first plane is one of the above mentioned planes. It is not the first version nor is it the last version. It is more like one in between.

The first version had the rudder up on top of the horizontal stabilizer and the last very had a semisymetrical airfoil

The second plane is mostly likely a tail dragger is the reason there is no nose wheel well

The Ultra Sport kits didn't have a balsa covered foam wing and fiberglass fuselage?

On the second plane I believe you are showing a mismatched wing and fuselage. The fuselage is definitely an Ultrasport which was a tail dragger airplane.

The gear placement in the wing shows that the setup it was meant for is a tricycle gear airplane with a nosegear. I can't tell for sure but I would almost bet that the wing is not an Ultrasport wing.

That could very well be the case. I ended up with a couple of wings with no matches and a couple of fuses with no matches. It is amazing, though, as the wing fits perfectly. The wooden dowels line up in front, and the holes for the wingbolts are a perfect match, too. Who knows:eek: I think I'm gonna cover the retract wells, install a set of fixed gear, and make it a taildragger....you never know, I might come up with the perfect combination;) As I was looking a little closer, I noticed a wooden dowel sticking straight down through the fuse. Turns out it's hooked to the pilot's head. Looks like the builder was trying to make his head turn:)

I read where the Ultrasport could be built as either a tricycle gear or a taildragger. Could it be possible that I have the fuse from a taildragger and the wing from a tricycle geared plane? It just fits too well not to be related somehow.
