small batterie for 9 servos?
 

this is my firts 50cc ariplane a reacto 1.60 with a crrc 50cc . the plane is ready to fly. maiden fligth is going to be next sunday. im broke right now. so i decide to buy a 6.0v 1100mah for the reiciver im using(9 servos on the plane) futaba 3310 and 3005 high torque and higspeed) for the ignition im using a 4.8 v1100 as the manual of the engine recomend! but im afraid of using 6.0V 1100 mAH FOR THE receiver is that to low? can you guys give me some advice? another question when i fully charge my 6.0v when i check the voltage with a digital voltimer read as 6.60 thats the lowes i can saftly flight? thank you!

i wouldnt fly it. 1100 isnt enough for all the servo's. yes you could get a few flights out of it but you risk brown out/looseing the airplane.

A lot depends on how you fly (lot of extreme movements draws a lot of current), but I would only fly one flight with that battery, charge it at the field, fly one flight, charge, etc. until you can afford a much larger pack. Remember 6 volt packs use more energy than the same amount of use of a 4.8 volt pack. (shorter flight times).

With that many high-torque high-speed servos, I would use a battery pack made out of A cells or sub-C cells, not AA cells. Max current draw for A and sub-C cells is much higher than for AA cells. I would also get 2200mAh+ capacity.

WAIT and pay the price for a larger battery pack as previously suggested.
A battery pack is a lot cheaper than a new plane.

My question (related, but different specifications)
Servos: 6 digitals (HS5645s) and 1 analog for the throttle 4 servos are on ailerons
Battery: 1400MAH Metal Hydryde (HyriMax 5 cell.)
Engine: 4 cycle glow

Safe for 2-3 10-12 minute flights?

Well, lets put it this way... it's enough for a flight... maybe two, or depending on servo use, maybe 3.
Check it after the first flight. If it's dropped a considerable amount, field charge it up to peak. If you don't have a charger, there's a good chance somebody else will.
I used to do a bit of amature competition fun flying years ago. 5 normal servos... worked VERY hard for several mins... tiny 200mAh battery!
Good for 2.5 flights.

I am getting 5 ten minute flight on the pack I posted above. This is running 2-digital and 4-analog servos on a 3-D plane. With 9 servos I think I would run two packs and switches. Like othwers have said , save up and wait till you have the money. Why risk loosing the plane over $50?

I use a Smart-Fly BatShare combiner with two 4.8v 1650 mAh packs in my 25% Ultimate.

Unless you need the added torque of running at 6v you don't gain much and lose flight time. I'm running eight Futaba S3152 and a ninth (throttle) standard servo. I risk three 10 minute flights plus field prep and idle/taxi time and then recharge regardless.

thank you all. i think i wil get the 4200mah 6,0 hobbico batteri for the RX and i will buy a cheap 4.8 2500 mah for the ignition. whats the diffrences between using a 4.8 and 6.0 volts for the ignition?

That I don't know. I only have one EI engine (a Fuji) and I'm still using the 4.8v pack that came with it. It's a little bugger - four of what I guess are "1/2A" size cells rated at 1400mAh total. The manual says: "The ignition module runs on any 4.8V battery". Not sure what 6.0V might do, but why risk it? Sometimes more is too much.
