Converted weedwacker motor Question

1 Attachment(s)

I've had a 23cc weedwacker motor laying around the shop for a couple of years. It's been converted to accept a prop but thats all I know about it. No experience with gas only flown with glow. What should I expect from a engine this size? Is it equal to say a 90 two stroke?- less, more?
Keep looking at it laying in the box and thinking of a project it would work in. Have to be something with a big mouth, something light and large enough to handle the size and weight of the enginelike a WWI bipe.

There's a lot you can cut off the engine to lighten it. Remove all metal not necessary, like the shroud I see in the picture. These engines work well in most of Balsa USA's 1/4 scale kits. The Pup would be a perfect fit. The engine should swing a 16x8, or 16x10 prop without much problem.
