Help in indentifying plane
I am based in Phnom Penh and bought a static display in the local toy shop. They have lost the box, manual etc. Can anypone please help me identify this plane, engine size, make? It is not a Seagull made plane as I have contacted them and they have confirmed that it is not one of theirs. Thanks.

RE: Help in indentifying plane
It looks like one of the Phoenix Models planes or maybe a copy of one.

RE: Help in indentifying plane
Gents - Thank you for your kind response. It does look more like the Phoenix Sea Bee, perhaps an earlier version?

RE: Help in indentifying plane
They used to have some other patterb-type planes in addition to the Seabee. I know they also sell some stuff in other countries that they don't here in the US so who knows.

Fuselage is a dead ringer for the Laser, which is discontinued. The pilot figure is Phoenix Models too. Two strips of blue/red on the trailing edge of the wing is missing, but it is in fact none other than a Laser 40. |
RE: Help in indentifying plane
I compared them with the references. It looks lpike a combinationof a Sea Bee and the Laser 40. The cowl in my model is identical to the Sea Bee.
