Crazy servo question.
This one has me stumped. Last year I built a 30% Yak using Power HD 9550 servos throughout. No problems what so ever with it last year. Over the winter I stored the plane in my heated garage, and besides charging my LiFe batteries about every 6 weeks, I haden't touched it since November. Last week while getting everything prepped for this season, I noticed my rudder is kicked approximately 1" to the left of center. I tried rebinding everything, however nothing I do is bringing it back to center. I can pull the arm off the servo and recenter it, however when doing this, my throw is now much greater to one side than it is to the other.
Any ideas on what could have caused this, and what I can do to fix it?

RE: Crazy servo question.
This may or maynot be the solution to your problem, but there was someone out at our feild who had a plane he flew perfectly the weekend before and then he brought it out the next saturday without chaning a thing and turned it on and realized his steering nose wheel was slightly cocked to one side. It took him about 45 minutes to an hour going over all his servo connections and receiver hook ups, but he finnally realized it was a switch on his transitter that he never assigns anything to. With this plane he some how has the steering servo mixed in with some other feature and it was controled with a switch on the transmitter. He flipped the switch and the nose wheel straigtened right out.

RE: Crazy servo question.
Have you messed with your transmitter over the Winter? Maybe programmed another plane and accidentally got on the wrong model? Check your rudder trim and make sure it's centered and check the sub trim.

Agreed with WCB: Check your radio, may have changed the trim, and everything, if its not the radio, its got to be readjusted

RE: Crazy servo question.
Thanks for all of the replies. Ended up being the simplest of things. Subtrim was off..

Thanks again
