OS 91FSR
I have acquired a 91 FSR with little time on it and was wondering about its RPM range and propellers. It came with no paper work. Thanks!

RE: OS 91FSR
Practical RPM Range: 2,000 - 12,000 RPM
Suggested Prop(s): Stunt planes: 11x11-12, 12x10-12, 13x9 Scale models: 13.5x8, 14x7, 15x6, 16x6, (12x8 & 12.5x7-3 blade) I got this right off the tower hobbies website under the os 91 four stroke engine. |
RE: OS 91FSR
FSR is not a 4 stroke.
The 91 is the sister to the 108 FSR. I have a 108, I use a 15 X 8 on mine. I don't know what RPM it runs at. But it flew my Four Star 120 Just fine here at 2400ft above sea level. I expect you will really grow to like yours as well. I might suggest a 14 X 8, or a 15 X 7 to start with. Hope this may help. -Snuts- |

13x8...14x6...14x7...15x6
The .91 FSR is a good, powerful engine...a bit heavy, but excellent quality. Don't lug it down too much...let 'er spin up some...prop it for around 11 to 12K. It will turn a large prop, but mine seemed happier if I let it rev. I used 10% nitro and an O.S. #8 plug...14x6 prop. |
