1/8" shank router bit
1 Attachment(s)
Does anyone know where I can get a 1/8" shank stright cutting router bit with a bearing on either the top or bottom to cut out duplicates parts. The bearing would ride on the master template. I'll be using it in my Dremel tool. I have the tool mounted to a homemade router table. Thanks.... Dick

RE: 1/8
I think Dremel makes the bit. Look it up in there catalog.

Yep, I have one and I believe it is from Dremel. I got it at Home Depot if I remember correctly.

RE: 1/8
You know what... I was wrong. Mine is a 1/4 shank for a regular router. I could have sworn that I had one for my Dremel but Ido not see one in the box.

RE: 1/8
I didn't think so,, the closest thing you find to do that job with a 1/8" shank is a rotozip guidepoint bit, no bearing, but a flat spot for the template to ride on,,,, keep it moving so the template doesn't get burned..
Charlie,,, There are called "Flush Cut" Bits Any Laminate trim router motor would work great for a mini router table,, and give you more bit choices than a Dremel type tool I have one of these http://www.homedepot.com/Tools-Hardw...atalogId=10053 They work great,, and it's cordless ;) |
RE: 1/8
cotman: try rockler.com, they have a good selection of 1/8 shank bits. Tom
