i suppose this modification is due to the "breaking" cable of the rudder?

More due to mis-installation and cable pulling out of the sleeve.

Thank you,

Update for QQ-Yak 69":

I'd like to emphasize on the fact that you need to use minimum of 130 oz-in digital servos for this plane. Please do not use analog servos if you can and if you decide to use analog servos, make sure to use metal gear and minimum torque of 180 oz-in.

Do you know or could you measure the overall length of this aircraft?

I'm not really sure what Quique wants to do about this but I suspect we will be using the same manual since changes are not that significant and won't affect the assembly.

So does the Gen III have all the same hardware inclusions with it, like the titanium pushrods, ball links, cf tubes, sfg's, CF rudder horn, composite landing gear, pull pull hardware, wing bags and canopy cover?

Thanks
Bob

Just started to assemble my Pitts Python and "no bolts to install the landing gear".. What size are the installed blind nuts ? Hope they are not metric, as I will not be able to get those at the local hardware store !!

I think this has been mentioned in another thread......but there is no mention of installing the tailwheel and how it is set up in the Python manual. Also, the manual addition on installing the DA-85 is excellent.

G4 and G3 are the same in assembly with G2. Quique didn't feel the need of new assembly manual as construction is the same. Do you have a G4 and something looks different than manual? or you just wanted to see the pictures?

Let me know.

Im going to get a G4 if the current plans fall through and it doesnt look good for the current plans.

Im mainly interested in the canister tunnel on the g4 and a few other things like canopy instalation. I just want to make an informed decision.

My buddy Meanrudder is in my ear every night on the phone telling me to get a G4 mobster style lol he should be on the payroll.

I have the Gen II manual for my G4 100cc yak. Manual says to cross the pull-pull cable and use Sullivan Gold-n-rod 504 over the cables to block RF. What change/update is there about the rudder pull-pull set up not noted on the manual that came with the plane? I just got the plane 10 days ago.

Pull-pull is the same as G2. If you are flying 2.4 then you won't need the cover over the cable otherwise everything else stays the same including crossing the cable

I am in the process of mounting the cowl on a QQ Pitts Python, and noticed that on the upper section of the firewall ther is three holes with blind nuts on the back side of the firewall that appear to be mounting holes for supports like on the bottom of the cowl. What are these suppose to be used for? The reason I'm asking I am having problems getting the top section of the cowl to line up with the outline of the firewall, so was I shorted some brackets for the top cowl section or was something left out of the manual that I need to be aware of to help the fitment of the cowl.
