Hey all,
I am running this combination and was hoping to get some input on what would the best prop and size for low to ground hovering and similar flying. Any input much appreciated.

grab bolly's and mejzlik's from chiefaircraft.com. Get the vess (my favorite) from vessaero.com. Get the PT model at troybuiltmodels.com

From my own experience, the 22x8's have a quicker response than the 23x8. I find this more conducive for hovering and low 3-D flight.
I bought 3 new 23x8's (NX) but didn't like the way they flew so I'm going back down to the NX 22x8.

If the motor is new it's probably better to start out with a 22x8. I've been using the Bolly 22x8 for seven gallons and I'm about ready to switch to the Vess 23A. The Bolly does perform very well though!!! It is a true 22''prop, not 21 1/2 like some.

I tried a variety of props on the DA-50.
I like the Xoar, like the NX but for me, the best seems to be Menz S - all 23x8, with canister and after 3 gallons.
