Default 49 inch Yak 54 anyone flying it?

I'm finishing assembly of my 49" QQ Yak 54. I have the recommended Hacker motor/ speed controller for the plane. I have a couple of 3 cell li po's I'm going to start with but I'm sure I'll want to upgrade. Anyone flying the plane with the three and then four cell li po packs? How is the performance with either? Let me know how your's flies and if you'd prefer one pack over the other. Some flight reports please.
Thanks,
T

Hello

My 49 is almost ready for take off but I have problems with interference from the regulator.. Any idea of what I can do? I have tried with both PPM and PCM reciever. PPM is hopeless and PCM is working ok within 100 meters.

Hi There,

I have flown it with both 3S 3300 Duralite and 4S 2500 Duralite. Diffrence in power is day and night but on the 4S side it would be so balastic that you would have a hard time controling your throttle. I personally like the 3S but if you are looking for rocket like puches straight up then the 4S is your answer. 3S would fly it fine as well. It would really be matter of taste.

Thank you,
Reza
