Question for those flying IMAC with a 102" Yak

What procedure do you use to get a spin to judge well? I'm finding that when the airplane starts its rotation after the stall that the wing drops faster than the nose giving the illusion of a snapped entry. Some of the judges seem to look at the wing, instead of the nose dropping or the lack of forward motion and zero the maneuver. What can I do to make it judge better? Thanks, Tom

RE: Question for those flying IMAC with a 102" Yak

I am not an IMAC guy by any means at least not yet. Check your lateral balance. My understanding is that judges want to see you enter the spin after your nose drops and breaks the horizon. if your wing drops to one side while you are in nose up attitude trying to stall the plane then they will either 0 or deduct point (not sure). Normally your wing should start its roll after the nose is dropped and passed the horizon.

Sorry, I have limited IMAC practice time. Can't help you much but this is my understanding from readings and some small lessons that I got from IMAC pilots.
