Gentlemen,

After some years of hiatus I was eventually able to drop my jumper for the first time a week ago. We used the Big Lift II I have been setting up for the duty with the only exception that I sold it and it is no longer my plane. Credits go to Thei Marcks for the final assembly, painting and setup.

Back in 2008 I built a recessed drop box into the fuselage belly.

We had 6 jumps, all very good. I need to improve chute packing but I guess it will come with practice. Even when deployment is less than ideal and tangling occurs, it solves in a matter of meters... very nice product, it is a pity that is no longer available.

I checked this forum again and it seems that most of the suppliers went out of business in the past years, that's really too bad.

This the video of the very first drop, as you can tell everything went just fine.

The Big Lift handles the extra weight very well.

I'm planning to install a smoke canister onto the jumper, yesterday I ground-tested theft sold by Flugwerft Edelweiss. Pretty thick smoke for about 45 seconds.

I'm a little bit concerned about the flames at the beginning tough...
