Firefighter38:
Go to the forum thread starting new rcskydiving forum look in there and look there are three or four people who make them and and also have some videos thta you can download, I have been doing rc skydiving model jumpers for 28 years and rhe last 4 years it has really began to take off. Go thru the forum threads when you have time to do so, there is a lot of information and pictures that you can look at. We now have people from Germany , Netherland , Holland, South Africa , Mexico Australia, and I have just recieved a e-mail from a gentleman in Japan. There is a modeler right down your way will send you his e-mail so that you can talk with him.

I used to have a porter and loved the flight characteristics and since I need a new jump plane thought I would go all out with an 80" one. They claim it will tow a 40lb glider so I am hopeing to set it up to drop three divers at a time.

Are the Porters a kit or arf or built from a plan? I would like to dig a little deeper into one of these airplanes.

rglass:
The one I have was already built and crashed was given to me by the owner and I rebuilt it. I believe if you go on line and in your search and type in model airplane porter platius you can find out all of the kits avalibu, I will search also and see if I can come up with some information on the aircraft OK
