Well another year of jumping for trophies is here and gone , there were winds os 8 to 18 mph on saterday and winds on sunday were 10 to sometimes 28 mph. again we had some winning jumpers. 1st place to Jules Vaessen 2nd place to Juan Fernanddz 3rd place Gary Van Fossen . There were some of the most interesting landings and fly aways that all of us who were there will talk about for quite awhile. But to all the winners and those who were there congratulations on a job well done

Bob has the names and positions a little mixed up.
1st - Gary V
2nd - Juan
3rd - Jules MALFLIET
As usual everyone had a good time in spite of the very high winds. Jules jumper actually took off again after landing in the strong wind.
Thanks to the Central Indiana R/C Skydiving Team members, Marland McIntire, Guy McIntire and Gary Bussel. We really appreciated their hospitality and especially the 4 wheel retrieval vehicle.

When Looking back to this years Muncie Rally ,its the most unusual Rally I ever competed in .
Congratulations to Gary and Juan for kicking my bu..![:@] (there fanatic will to beat me this time made them invincible
)
The tread I was suspecting was not coming from Ohio !
The CORKS of Ohio invited me in as member of there feared skydiving team
( Mike,Paul,Paul & Paulien [sm=wink_smile.gif] ! )
No the real tread came from the west coast and Virginia !
The wind conditions where almost extreme , no one goes rc flying and sure not rc skydiving on a day like this Saturday and Sunday !
In Muncie we did it , The pilots of the drop planes did the impossible thing to take us up, knowing they where risking their planes every time they hauled us up .
I want to thank them for doing this ,without them there was no rally .
I also want to thank the Central Indiana R/C Skydiving Team members, Marland McIntire, Guy McIntire and Gary Bussel for organizing the 2008 Muncie rally .
My special thank goes to Paul and Anna Lee , for there hospitality and never ending effort to let us feel like home ,even more with a welcome party for us !
Thats what you can cal a VIP treatment !
Thanks Paul & Anna Lee ,
Hope to see you all again next year , maybe ?
