Sounds real good. I will post on the homepage of my website so we can get the word out as well. Our jump planes hauls up three at a time, so people can catch a ride with us if they need too. Looks like there wil be four from RCSkydiving jumping, and we have Micro jump planes as well as the big jump plane.

Would you like to try R/C Skydiving to see if you like it? I have divers for anyone who wants to get there first jump in, we can make this happen! (with supervision of course)

Mike ,

I have a friend that would like to come to the rally, but he may not be available in July.
He's new to R/C Skydiving, so he shouldn't be too tough to beat.

Here is the Skydiver Rally Flyer. It was designed by George Lust, a very talented CORKS club member

That is a cool poster. Perhaps you should print it out and give one to each of participants.

It's a great brochure! I will be making copies to have on hand at the Perry, Ga. Swapmeet. It's the largest one in the southeast. Will also put some at Hodges Hobbies to hopefully advertise at the Southeast Electric Flyin (SEEF) and at his many events at his field and other FlyIns in this neck of the woods all summer. Maybe that will help stir up a little interest and hopefully more attendees. I will be there for sure now that all the dates for my other commitments do not conflict with your "Rally" date.
I have been taking advantage of all the good wx we have had around here to practice for the Rally. Maybe I will at least make the runway this year!!!

Very nice poster. We will hand them out at the Toledo Expo at our booth. Alot of people always ask us were they can go see R/C Skydiving in action. I will also be posting it on my homepage as soon as I can. Sounds like it will be a good time.

I am assuming so we haven't discussed that a lot so far, will that system work ok for everyone? If any one has any better ideas or suggestions I am all ears. We want to make this event the best it can be.

Hi Mike,

Looks like you are getting this thing rolling. Post a list of suggested motels in the area, On second thought this info may be on the CORKS website already.
I guess i'll have to go look.

You could go by the German rules, then we all would know bad we would do if we competed in the German Nationals. HE HE.

There is a "ham radio" store just outside of Columbus I would like to visit, Universal Radio.
And my wife is interested in the Longaberger Basket factory, if she comes . We'll have to see how that works out with Wes.

Hi Gary,

If you click on the Map and Directions link on our website you can scroll down a little and click on the buttons for the Hotels to show up on the Map. There is a Holiday Inn and a Hampton Inn in Sunbury which is only about 5 to 10 minutes away.

I don't need "German Rules" to tell me how bad I am.... it obvious by how far I have to keep walking...

Hi Mike,

Where do we send the registration to for rally?
The only address I see is the one for the field.
Did you make a registration form and I missed it. or just put the money in an envelope with the shirt size.

It is suppose to be up to 70 here on Sunday, but it is a no-fly dayf or our club due to an event going on where we fly.
Guess i'll go to the other club and fly after the Ham radio fox hunt, any other Hams here will know what that is.

Looking forward to the Rally,

GaryV

Today I placed 200 of your brochures all over three buildings in use at the Southeast Swap Meet at Perry, Ga. Many hundreds of swap tables and a lot of dealers attracted a bunch of shoppers from all over the southeast-even a couple from Calif. Hopefully, they will attract some attention and interest in the rally. I also gave the AMA rep a few to give to Rich Lagrange back in Muncie.

It was brought to my attention that the dates on the registration are wrong, I was half asleep when I did it. The one on here is now correct and the one on the website will be corrected. Sorry for the confusion.
