Red face Axial Yeti Kit build with Many upgrades

Hey guys, got myself the Yeti for Christmas. Lots of upgrades. If you saw the over 100 spend thread you saw the list. I love this thing. Just posted a run video on YouTube with my Replay Prime X. I made two different bodies, the included and the AMF aluminum panels. It was a nice day for running. Hope you like the different pictures of the build. Holla with questions and comments. I didn't have any issues except on first run I used a 3mm pinion from the 1980's and it was say too soft of metal and just basically disintegrated. I got some hardened steel pinions and I am gold.

Nice lookin Yeti!! Any chance you could give me an idea of the upgrades you would say are mandatory before driving or at least best done while building the kit. I'm about to order my kit and would like to get the important stuff with the kit. I've read something about a plastic bushing that needs replacing immediately or it gets soft?

I'll give you my $.02 on the whole Yeti thing. You will need to add not one thing to the kit . What type of power you plan on running will determine what upgrades are in your future...but that's down the road. First upgrade or mod, while using 2S LiPo batteries, will be the servo saver. You put a 3S pack in the belly of the beast, and your upgrade list is gonna grow a bit .

I've been looking at the tekin rx8 gen2 with 2250kv motor or the mamba monster x with a 2650kv. Both are package deals from tower. To be honest I'm still reading up on the options for brushless. This will be my first non-nitro since my Tamiya grasshopper. I want the esc to be as programmable and upgradable as possible with options for plenty of different motors if possible as well.
