Default Kyosho Inferno

Hi Guys and Girls
I have just bought a Kyosho MP5, it needs a few items and i would like some help. Firstly i hope this question is in the right forum segment.....So i have a Rossi .21 engine (pull start) and i need the pull start. Easy so i thought.. Any idea what one i need? More so for the size of the cover plate. Mine is over 30mm hole centres and all the ones i see online are 27mm/28mm etc. They all seem too small
Second, the brake linkage had been disconnected as the main gear needs replacing, this bit i am fairly confident with, but the brake linkage has 2 pieces of linkage just dangling down, clearly these need to attach to "something". I might have the parts. just don't know what i am looking for. Just a pic or advice please. In case i need to try and source parts.
The buggy didn't come with a manual

Thanks
Dean

hi racing , well to help you a little with your novarossi .21 motor , the pull starts never last long the rope breaks or the recoil spring breaks you might look into a starter box . the parts for the brake and or, brake linkage may fit try the kyosho mp9 they could be the same ok
also you can down load the mp5 manual and also the kyosho mp9 nitro manual ,, see the internet for photos and you tube for videos of the kyosho mp5 and kyosho mp9 these are great rc buggies ok hope i helped mugey

What I would do is search online for a manual? I would start there and look through pictures to see the setup. Maybe you could see where the linkage belongs? Wish I could help with the pull start, all I know is they are very finnicky and yes a starter box is your best option

Yeah, i have ordered a starter box anyway - so you just leave the pull start on the motor? I know some motors don't have pull start and instead have a blanking plate like my other Nitro's. Just wondering what most do? Ta

you can leave the old pull start on the back, it shouldn't hurt anything.
