Dynamite Mach 26 good engine or not?
I recently ordered a picco 26 engine and my lhs had to special order it cause they don't stock big block engines...SInce I place my order they don't have any ETA date for it wich means i could receive it in 2 weeks like i could receive it in 3 months ...To take no chances I decided i would order a second engine in case the picco doesn't show up cause I don't wanna be spending all summer without an engine...So i ordered the mach 26 sg shaft no pull start....Does anyone have experience with this engine?

My RZ blows, seriously, no matter how much I sink into it, bearings, blocks,piston/cylinder kits. It still won't run right. I've resealed the carb, back cover, tried getting rid of the boost chamber, but it still sucks. Won't idle at 1/4 open and needle settings don't make a difference. I hate O.S., they should be ashamed for charging so much for a toilet, I'm going to RB, the S-7 is still cheaper than this OS RZ I have.

I had that problem too with my RZ, it was just a change of plug and it works awesome. 2 Gallons through her so far and she runs awesome.

O.S. recommends an A-5 for it, however, A-5, #-8, O'donnels, Rossi, they all run the same. I'm going to tear down the carb and see if it's just the lower circuit of the fuel system. Other than it not idling, the engine rips at top end. This thing is bugging me too much.
