Ahem... lets just quit the B.S. about "OMG its been answered before " and just answer his question...

Edit: The most important difference is the front diff. If you were to buy the normal 777 and later upgrade it to Special 1 parts, you'd pay ~$115 for the diff alone.

What fer?
I just finished rebuilding all the diffs and only the front TCD was as good as when I first put it together. The center and rear diffs' silicon oil were deep black goo. Seems to me it's doing it's job. Seems like the people you know have a really good secret that they are keeping to themselves and don't want to share

If your only seeing a difference of $115 between the standard and SP1 kit you need to seriously relax and quit yer yapping. Were paying $300-400 more for it. And I still think its worth every penny. Go try to buy the tcd, full universals, high grade towers, harcoated chassis, disc brakes, etc etc etc separatley on top of your standard kit, You'll end up paying $1000 for the whole kit.

yes adam that will do but you have made sure that that pressure line from the carb to the backplate is secured have you glued it because if tht thing looses it will be like a vacuum cleaner.
