1/8 scale buggy question.
is a .21 engine the smallest size engine you can put in a 1/8 scale engine? a .12 engine will not be powerful enough will it? sorry for the newbie ? i am new to the r/c thing.

Nah .21 is perfectly suited to the 1/8 scale buggies! a .12 would be to small they are more suited to 1/10 scale on-road cars
1/10 on-road car = .12-.15
1/10 off-road car = .12 (mabey) .15 more lightly
1/8 off-road buggy = .21 - twin engined homemade monsters
Monster trucks are same as buggies

yeah your right HPI was doing tests on a twin engined savage using two nitro star .25's and thunder tiger's EK4 comes standard with a .70 size engine in it

well, i know my .12 os engine is plenty strong enough to power my rc10gt that i'm rebuilding. thanks for the responses, they answered my queations exactly...
