OFNA Ultra lx competetion or ultra mbx pro?
which 1/8 scale buggy is best for hitting fat jumps and hardcore bashing at the river and occasionally going to my buddies to race at his speedway track in his backyard... i'm looking at the ofna ultra lx competition rtr for $289 , then they have the ofna ultra mbx pro rtr for $299. which car is better for what i want to do? and also if there are any other buggy's out there for this price, let me know.... thanks.

The Comp is nearly new, which is an advantage compared with the MBX pro that is old and out of production. There is a new MBX comp on the way, but the Comp should be good to your needs.
Does this mean that you have decided not to buy the old TT?

The ultras are good buggies, but they aren't the best for the buck. something like the X-terminator or the Kyosho Mp 7.5 is only a little more $$$ and a lot better.

If you mean the Kyosho RTR then it is absolutely not better. It is made of very cheap materials and doesn't last. Especially if you're gonna bash it.
To some people the X-terminator are a good basher, but over here they have had serious quality problems.
I would still recommend the Ultra Comp
