Default Buggy kits

Hi, I want to get a very durable and racable buggy kit. I already have the radio system but I will still need an engine. I want the total price of the buggy kit plus engine together lower than about $450. I was thinking about either the ofna hyper 7 pro or the Hotbodies lightning pro but they are a little over my budget.

you aren't leaving yourself much of a budget for a high end kit and motor. most of the kits are around $500 alone.

What about the Ofna 1/8 Hyper 7 TQ Sport Kit. It is about $265.

i think you are beginning to compare apples to oranges (hyper 7 pro versus hyper 7 tq sport). my philosophy is you get what you pay for.

I just bought a new Hyper TQ kit (240$) and a new Hyper 21 engine for 75$ off ebay. So basically I paid 315$ for a brand new Hyper 7 ( I already had a radio). I think the TQ kit is nicer than the Hyper RTR and it ended up being very cheap for me. Plus I got to build it myself so I know exactly how it works. It obviously doesn't have all the PRO options but I think it's a really decent buggy for the price. I'm just finished building it and everything was nice and easy, the fit was perfect.

Unless you're looking for a top pro racer, I don't see how you can justify paying twice as much. Think about it, an Hyper 7 for the price of a Ofna Ultra Comp.

I would get the Sportwerks Mayhem pro arr. It comes with a strong Sportwerks .21 and pipe for around 500.00

OK my decision is between the Hyper TQ kit and the Mayhem Pro ARR. I know the Mayhem will be better but it is a little too much money for me since I'm only 14.

So you think the lightning pro is racable? Because some people say the hyper series are way better. and that the lightining can't even compare with them. Just wondering, thanks.
