Need place online for MP777 parts!(clutch springs)
I need to find a good place online for parts. I look at the usual places, Tower and Ebay but don't always see what I need right now. My local LHS leave something to be desired when it comes to anything but RTR parts. Right now I need clutch springs and could use new clutch shoes. Recs on what weight of springs to run on an OS RG would be appreciated.

Mugen 1.0 is good too.
I believe I got the Mugens from Horizon.

I have a set of Mugens the LHS sold me but I can't get them on. They are a little smaller on the internal OD of the spring hole. I pried and cussed to no avail..

If you are using a Kyosho flywheel, you need to use Kyosho clutch shoes. Kyosho makes their pin hole .1mm bigger than every one else. You can drill out the shoes a bit to amek them fit and you can force the prings on but they will snap prematurely

When I need to replace fly wheel and shoes would a different brand be a better idea? If so what would be a good choice?

I like the Kyosho stuff. You can get Kyosho carbon shoes. You can run what most o fthe pros run. 2 carbon and 1 aluminum.

I run Robinson Racing HPI Savage 13T bell, Mugen carbon shoes and Mugen 1.0 springs on my SP1 whenever my Werks clutch doesn't hook up. This setup is great with my P5 and RB S7II. Are you sure they are mugen springs?

RE: Need place online for MP777 parts!(clutch springs)
Starting to really hate my LHSes... Took the springs and engine to them today. The ones they gave me didn't fit. So they dug some Mugen 1.0 springs that had a big enough hole off the wall. Had a hard time getting them on at the store. Ended up loosing the the washers/shims. Me or them, not sure. They don't have any more shims.. Got the springs on though. Guy says I can run it some without hurting it. 5 years experience, blah blah blah is what he said. To make a long story short I seized up my clutch on the second tank of fuel today. Not sure of the damage yet but I'm chapped. Every time I try to give the LHSes some business I feel screwed. They never have what I need(filter elements for a XXX-NT last Friday) and try to sell me what I don't need or the wrong items(.9 Mugen springs). So.. got that off my chest..
What would be the best, most durable, easy to work on, clutch to get if mine is screwed up? Another Kyosho? or?
PS: Had a blast with the buggy, new track layout, until the clutch froze up!

I run mugen in my mugen and my hyper 7. Easy to get where i am and never had to many problems with them. www.carolinarc.com i believe is the website for where i go.
also clutch set up depends of the engine the track and track conditions also.
