Default Removal of con-rod question?

This may be a simple question, but I haven't tried it before:

How do I remove the con-rod from the crankshaft?

Thanks.

You have to get the sleeve out first, then the rod will have enough clearance to slide off the end of the crank.

I have removed the sleeve, but the rod seems to be running in some kind of "groove".
The engine is a Picco .21 Sport.

Hey Engrose i thought for someone like you with 634 post should know how to do it...
You are pulling it from the crankshaft and it doesn't come off(with the sleeve out)?

Now that I have 635 I know

I just didn't like to apply force when I wasn't sure that it was the way to do it!

after u take off the sleeve, put the crank pin at "11 to 1 o-clock" just wiggle it up side down and the rod should fall off the engine. dont drop the piston, it is very fragile and bends easy
