RE: CEN Matrix 1/8th scale buggy
Good to hear trackman, i'm think of order a Matrix pro when it becomes available, so it's very good that you report your opinion about this buggy.
Have you broken any parts yet? How's the handling? etc.
Thanks

RE: CEN Matrix 1/8th scale buggy
Race Report by CEN RACING
What a weekend for Team CEN! CEN Racing sent some top gun’s down to Miami Florida to take on some of the best international competition around. Many drivers from Venezuela and Italy showed up to prove their skills.
In production monster truck CEN’s Shawn Blackwell took top honors by “TQâ€ing the first three rounds of qualifying. Shawn simply dominated qualifying with his out of the box NEMESIS 7.7. Andrew Smolnik qualified in a respectable 7th place.
CEN NEMSIS 7.7 is the fastest production monster truck at the Maxy’s Challenge!
William Copely had a few problems during qualifying, but managed to bump up from the B main into the prestigious A main event.
The prestigious A main event was 45 minutes long. After the grueling race Andrew Smolnik ended up taking a strong 2nd place only 1 sec behind first place, while William Copely took 3rd. Shawn had fallen out of the race due to electronic problems while competing for the lead.
We would like to congratulate Team CEN on their great performance in the production MT Class. They are proving time and time again that the NEMESIS 7.7 is a strong force in the Production MT class. Way to go guys!
In 1/8th scale buggy CEN’s Shawn Blackwell TQed the first round of qualifying. Shawn battled for TQ the entire day of qualifying with Italy’s top driver Samuel Lenzi. Shawn would end up qualifying 2nd over all. Followed by CEN’s Jose Zayas qualifying 4th and Andrew Smolnik qualifying 5th.
In the strenuous 45min main Italy’s National Champ Lenzi was out to a strong lead followed by CEN’s Andrew Smolnik, and Shawn Blackwell. Shawn experienced some unfortunate engine problems and fell back in the pack. Andrew Smolnik continued to pursue the leader. With apx 15 minutes to go and about 10 seconds behind the leader Andrew Smolnik suffered a broken steering horn and was taken out of the race temporarily. However, CEN’s Jose Zayas teared through the pack and finished in an outstanding podium finish with 3rd place over all with his Matrix C1.
CEN Racing would like to congratulate Team CEN on their efforts at the 2005 Maxy’s international challenge. Great job!

RE: CEN Matrix 1/8th scale buggy
Hi: I have been flying RC planes for several years and have decided to get into the Car & Truck side of the hobby and want to race, any info I can get on getting started would be great. On the subject of the MATRIX Ive done reserch on just about every 1/8 scale Buggie out there and for the price the MATRIX, to me seems to be the best out there for someone just getting started. The only thing that deters me from purchasing a MATRIX is that I have not been able to find a site to get replacement parts. Thanks for any help you can give me WES 69.

WES 69 you can go to www.cenracing.com and then go to dealer, then US and pick your state and that should help you find a local hobbyshop in your area that carries the parts.

You need an Adobe Reader 7.0 to open it, or if you have one but it still won't work try going to the Cen website and check under CEN Matrix MEDIA it should open from there.

RE: CEN Matrix 1/8th scale buggy
Ugh, I change my mind about the Matrix Pro. I had changed my mind to get the HPI 5b, but now that I see the PRO kit is being released the day after my birthday, I think I know what I want for sure now (for those who can't figure out what I mean, gettin a matrix, hopefully).
A price for it would be cool.

The stock motor in the Associated MGT 4.60 & CEN Matrix, which I just ordered and I'm not sure what they stock, I think it might be Blue Thunder.
