Default Best engine for Kyosho 777 SP2

OK gang, I have taken all your feedback and decided on a Kyosho 777. First let me say that I appreciate all of your feedback and input.

Now here we go. What are the best engines for the 777SP2. By that I mean, the best engine for racing (legal in the majority of races) and the best engine for overall bashing and practicing.

So please recommend two engines. Pretend price is not a factor.

Thank you again for your feedback.

P5 hotmod as stated or Novarossi LSK .21 as racing motors, they will both be more engine than you can handle (unless I am underestimating you ).

Bashing, you might as well get a super block, I hear the Sirio .27 is a very good motor. Although I don't touch super blocks myself.

As with everything in life, you get what you pay for. Like I said though, unless you're a stupendous driver, these engines will be one hell of a handful, why don't you get something like a JP B5 stock, or a picco p7r, or an OS V-spec, or an RB WS7II, or a Novarossi P5 (all top motors), and spend money on a radio system, like an M11 or a 3PK with DSM module. Power is nothing without control...

Nevermind....I found the fusionsports website. Who is a reasonably priced dealer for these engines? What is the main differences between the Hotmods and the JP engines?

Hot Mods are based on Novarossi's correct? So which is better a stock novarossi or a stock JP?

You guys are a wealth of info.

Clear a few things up... Fusion Motorsports is the US importer of Novarossi engines.
JP engines are manufactured by Novarossi. ( as well as Rex,Top,Crono,RB Concept,Speed, and of course Novarossi)
Jim Hottinger does a fine job of modding Novarossi engines.
The main differances are the labeling of the engines and the modifications done by the respective engine gurus.
No such thing as one particular modified Novarossi engine being any better than another modified Novarossi... the're all good, just depends on the characteristics you desire.

lol its a good engine but the os spec cant come even close to the new c5bb and thats a proven i blew one away with my p5 and then the c5b or bb blows away the p5, had plenty of engine , even the 421 b and so far for power and realibility the rb rules not by much but since i tried them all this one was the most consistant and easiest to tune, but read up yourself and decide i would choose eighter the c5bb,the p5,or 421b

I use to own the OS-VZB-V-Spec...that's right, used to...got the RB C5BB....beats the OS any day, hands down. The OS has some great bottom end but that's about it...plus the thing was such a little b***h when it came to holding a tune. You want an engine that will smoke on the track, go RB.

Cheers
