i think that the cyntrifical force of 9 is divided by 17 to give you the estimated servo rate for a servo and according to my calculations the cyntrifical force(9)+gravity(21)/2=15 so the best servo that compares to my calculations is the Futaba S9351 which has a cyntrifical force of 17!!

So in conclusion I would say get the best thing for your own calculations and go with what best suits your C5BB motor!! Which we are getting DAD!!

Jdracing is my dad so im not crazy!! Just messing with him!!

Whats sad is that stupid 49oz servo that comes with the spektrum dx3 radio works great for my throttle servo! It'll even lock the wheels up!

I think it is an airtronics rebranded.

The JR 590 works just fine.

For a throttle servo, shoot for 50 or more in/oz of torque, and the fastest reaction time you can afford. For a steering servo its similar except shoot for at least 100 in/oz of torque and the fastest reaction time you can afford. Try to get corless servo motors instead of 3 pole if you can, and also digital if you can.

I have alwas had good luck with the airtronics servos, but I have the hitec Titanium Digital servo's in my sp1 and I love them-57T--189 [email protected] and water/fuel/oil resistant.Super smooth with no dead band.(run them with a li-poly or 1400mah)

That would be ideal..

I'm using a Hitec 925 for throttle and it seems to work fine.

I ran 5945 digitals hitec, they burned out, going with the coreless now and see what the end result 5965 looks to be a good replacement.

Airtronics 94359 for steering .10 @60 speed 200 oz torque 94360 .07 @60 speed 125 oz of torque for throttle and brake. Digital servos drain batteries so keep that in mind if you run long mains.

A 5945 is a coreless servo.

???? I did not realise that.... strange why it would burn out like that. Not even 2 months usage.

Did you send it back to hitec? They will more than likely replace it for you if you do. Also, I run the 5965MG on my 8ight and its a pretty good servo, very quick.

for 20 bucks more you could get a 3305. (I think thats the number?) Its a bit slow, but has the torque. I'm switching it from my throttle brake position thought, its to slow.

One thing I will say is that I have screwed up a lot of servos in my day , but I have never had a problem with Futaba . From the cheap s3003`s to the expensive ones . I have been running the same t-b servo (s3003) for almost 3 years now , must be a Timex .
