Before I go run out and pre-purchase or buy one, I would like to see one run or hopefully give it a test drive. So any ideas? Rumors? Facts? or do I just have to sit and drool[sm=tongue_smile.gif].

sept 30 is earliest date. best you pre-order as the ones pre-ordered may already be sold out if you wait till it hits the shelves

Typical Losi, I think the original release date was early August wasn't it? Hopefully that time is going into getting ALL of the bugs worked out of the buggy so the people who get the originals (like myself ) don't get any unwanted suprises.

i prefer to wait for the second release. and in the case of Kyosho i'd wait for the 3rd, 4th then worlds edition. the new mugen upgrade is out soon, that's the one i'm waiting for.

it wont surprise me if you DONT see the eight in stores till thanksgiving or after i remember the lst it didnt hit shelves till like 6 months after the release date. my personal opinion is they are mabey having a few issues that need worked out i know that the way they have the fuel tank designed for maximum fuel capasisty so you dont have to run long fuel lines may be one issue with it. if you flip it on its lid during a race and you are under a half tank you will flame out real fast and that was the issue at the roar nats. at the farm adam ezemuzcula flamed 3 times in the amain and from what i understood it was when he wrecked that it happend. i could be wrong on this but it is what i heard. but i also heard it handels very well and can carve some tight corners.

carolinas has them down as being in on the 20th of this month & a price tag of $999 minus 40% so 600 bucks.

i'd like to wait to see how it performs on a real blown out track. the narrow chassis may not be conducive to being stable on blown out tracks. we''l have to wait and see i suppose.

If the 8ight is any good, which it probably will be, would anybody be interested in a pro-level truggy? I don't mean the "Muggy" either I mean a truck based on the 8ight. And pro-level so it'll be a kit that you make sure it goes together properly.

If anybody else feels this way I spoke with a guy named Bill at Losi who says that I and others could keep emailing the [email protected] with requests. If you start emailing them please let me know I'd like to be able to tell Losi how many people want one, they'd probably be keeping count but I'd like to too. Thanks folks.

I heard it's being shipped to dealers tomorrow. One source says it's not listed on his order as 'back ordered' anymore so that would be a good indication.
