Hi. I managed to get the carb off, however now with it all back in place the carb turns quite easily even though I have tightened the pinch bolt as much as is possible. This can't be normal can it?

Also, when the car is running on the box with the throttle in neutral position the revs keep rising quite a bit all by themselves. If I put the brakes on the revs go back down. What could cause this?
My throttle linkages and radio I believe are all ok.

thanks.
Even so, it sounds like the linkage is binding or something, with the linkage set up properly it should return to an idle with no problem, I wold double check the slide on the carb to make sure nothing is binding on the carb, or double check the linkage and your EPA.

Remove the linkage and pull open and push close the carb slide by hand. If the carb slide opens and closes without any problems, then I would check your EPA setting.

Where did you get the cooling head from? That looks trick. I have never seen on like that before. Do they come in other colors?

I do believe that the .28 should fit on any engine mount made for your rig. A good pipe for the .28 is the 0801 or 086.
