Tried Out My New V-spec Today
I finally got to test out my new O.S. V-spec at today's race. My car's never felt so punched! Now I just need to work on my setup... okay, AND my driving.
I'm still working on final tuning, but I think it's pretty close right now.

i know what you mean! i just finished breaking in my osspeed vzb-max vspec! and whoa!
it was fast b4 i started to lean it out and when i hit almost a gallon she really woke up! and i mean she woke up screaming!
i was at an open track day tuning and gettin some runtime with it and i could pull everyone out there down the straights!

Mine's just a regular V-spec, but yeah, it's awesome.
I can't wait, it's only got about half a gallon on it so far.

Totally destroys it! I got fed up with that GO. So one night, after once again trying to tune it, it gave me a ton of trouble and I threw it away. Never again will I go for a cheap, iffy engine.

Not sure what GO you were running... But I just got some track time in with my new 7 Port Gen 5 GO... An no VSpec will destroy me... I am dead even with all the Sirio's, RB's, Nova's an VSpec's ... Tuned very easy (Maybe the new carb) Break in was a ***** i'll say that... I am at about 3/4 of a gallon an its just starting to wake up... Also running it in the heavy Mugen... So maybe you had a bad mill or something... This motor rips! To the point where i have people coming to my pit asking what it is... Whether its modded or not... That was running on the relatively rich side as well... Funny the reactions on people's faces when i tell them its a $200 engine... Not bashing the VSpecs or anything awesome ****ing engine.. But the GO performs damn good...

Skillhouette, I'm glad you like your GO. I just think that with those engines, a certain amount of luck is needed for success. Mine was the 3 port sport, and before you say anything, yes, I am aware that those are supposedly not known to be as good as the 5 and 7 port versions, but it was still very hyped. From what I hear, it was "supposed" to be very good. But again, that's cool that your GO is running well. [8D]
