Do they make a Torsen style differential for the 8ight?
I am possibly looking to get a 8ight or maybe 8ight-T but would love to get a center Torsen differential for it if they make one. I have one of these diffs in an older OFNA and it makes a world of a difference. Thanks for any replies.

Here's a link to that wonderful diff. Better put a kidney up for auction on Ebay!

Those doesn't seem to be a real torsen diff but more a limited slip diff just like the XRAY Active diff. Actually, after reading the description with ramps and so on I'm convinced they are identical to the XRAY Active diff.

I remember there being a discussion about this elsewhere about what those mysteriously expensive diffs actually do. Like you said, Amain's describes them as limited slip / torque-sensing (torsen) implying that an LSD and Torsen are one in the same, so your guess is probably better than mine...

This seems to be an exact explanation of how the Tractive IV works. It is NOT a torsen diff at all.
