Looks to me like the Raze has a more skilled driver besides the bigger engine. My old Ultra LX with the crappy Force 26 could beat a stock Raze if the driver's were similiar. Duratrax.......yuck......

to tell you the honest truth i like my raze better than my hyper 7,parts are cheper,its more reliable,better service,better warrenty,better stock radio, exc,exc,exc thelist goes on.

I've really got nothing against the Raze....a freind has one and he's such a Duratrax nut, that I got used to teasing him......guess I did a repeat with my OFNA Ultra comment above.

i just go tired of paying out the *** for ofna parts,mostly the ring and pinons,for 20 bucks you can get hardend steel spiral cut 1s from tower vs. 40 bucks for standard ofna 1s,also they fit into the hypers.

i dont care what brand you buy there all made in japan or tiwan,none that much better than the other,enless we talk xray, my hyper diffs went way before my raze,ended up putting raze spirals in my hyper much better.

how funny is this?the raze is as slow as a very slow buggy and as for that hyper7,whats it running on diesel?if you think that shows a bigger engine is quicker you need to have a look around and see what a fast motor goes like.i have a axe rossi cobra in my hyper 7(which is ok ish)and it would slaughter that raze.i know for a fact if i put the hyper21 that came with my bashing hyper7 back in it would be quicker than both of them.we spoke the other day about .21v.28 please dont tell me you think that over geared joke of a video is good.like the bottom end on the hyper though......

Sucks it got closed down.. apparently there was too much noise and commotion coming from the area.. (wonder why) still so stupid..

anyways, that engine is an on road engine.. why not just go with like.. an os vspec or GRP or something?

supermod if you are running your buggy on asphalt or smooth ground you will really see the difference in top speed compared to the axial with that radical .21,dont run a big clutch bell on it though or it will take ages to pull through the bottom end

I love my raze also. I had the first buggy version and all I did was put in the metal servo tray, metal steering servo and a new set of tires. I turn the old ones into slicks
